Capturing the beauty of San Gimignano and the beautiful Italian countryside, I added a little abstract touch with someone "peeking in" to the painting to keep an eye on this perfect gem of a city. This painting took many hours perfecting the detail in the roofing and brickwork in an attempt to capture the known beauty of the construction of Italian neighborhoods.
